7 Easy Ways to Change Brightness in Windows 10

Use the Action Center
Step 1: Go to the taskbar on the right side and choose the Action Center.
Step 2: Move the brightness slider towards the left or right to adjust the brightness. Tap on Expand to reveal it if you do not see any brightness slider under the Action Center screen.
Use the Windows Mobility Center
Step 1: Go to the Windows Mobility Center. For this, you can right click on the battery meter/icon or the Start menu (Windows icon).
Step 2: Touch the first slider you see under the Windows Mobility Center. The slider is for adjusting screen brightness.
Use the Settings App
Step 1: Tap on the Start menu, which is the Windows icon on the right bottom side next to the Search option.
Step 2: Select the Settings app from the options you see on your screen.
Step 3: Click on Display after opening System.
Step 4: Choose Brightness and Color and move the slider to adjust screen brightness.
Use the Keyboard Shortcut
Step 1: Press the Windows key and the I key together and keep holding them until you see the Settings screen on your Windows 10 computer.

Set Automatic Brightness Settings
Step 1: Go to Start > Settings > System. Or press and hold the Windows + I keys on your keyboard.

Step 3: Check for Turn Battery Saver On Automatically If My Battery Falls Below under Battery saver.
Step 4: To choose the percentage at which you are willing to turn on Battery saver, use the slider.

Step 1: Have a close look at the upper row of your device keyboard.
Step 2: Find the keys with the Sun icons in the middle of the upper row of the keyboard. On the first key with the sun icon, you will see the minus sign. The other key with the sun icon has a plus sign.
Step 3: Touch the key with the Sun and minus sign to reduce the screen brightness on your Windows PC.

Step 1: Type Device Manager in the search bar.
