Connect AirPods or AirPods Pro to iPhone
- Unlock your iPhone or iPad and go to its Home Screen.
- Keep the AirPods in the respective charging case and open its lid.
- Place the AirPods close to your iOS device as you open its lid.
- Look for the setup animation that will pop up on your iPhone screen.
- Click on the Connect option.
- Go through the next three screens if your AirPods Pro is either of the 1st or 2nd generation.
- Use Siri to connect the AirPods or AirPods Pro if they are either of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd generation and you have installed Siri on your iPhone or iPad. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect these two Apple devices if you have no Siri on your device and your AirPods or AirPods Pro is either of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd generation.
- Click on Done. There will be an automatic setup/connection if you do sign into iCloud with a single Apple ID.
Connect AirPods to iPhone Manually
- Open the charging case while keeping the earbuds, AirPods, there.
- Go to the touch button located on the case and gently press it. Keep it holding until you see a flashing white light on the case.
- Go to the Bluetooth section under the Settings app of your iOS device.
- Tap on the AirPods name as it appears on your iPhone or iPad.
